The red house on the corner with its Hanseatic gable is just a stone's throw away from the old city port. Here you are welcomed in our historical restaurant and its maritime atmosphere which is widely known beyond the state borders of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Our cog Zur Kogge offers seats for 64 guests on the lower and top deck, our Captain's Room is suitable for groups up to 35 people. Take a seat on the berths or
at our board tables and go on a journey around the world. You will see bank notes and coins from all over the world. Preserved sawfish, sea urchins and other inhabitants of the oceans compete for your attention on the walls and on the ceilings. Originally reproduced models of ships, genuine lifebelts and ship's bells exude an atmosphere of seafarers' romance.

The imposing bar is the oldest item in our house and has already been there since the opening 150 years ago. It surely would have to tell a lot of interesting travel reports and a lot of exciting sailor's yarn to spin. We draw you still today a nice lager, in German "kühles Blondes" (fresh blonde).
